Technology for process organization
by Carlos Alberto D’Avila, Ellevo’s director
One of the biggest problems that companies face is related to the productivity of the professional. Here, the organization of the process through technologies that allow controlling actions and measuring their results, is still a constant.
some years ago, when the Brazilian economy was in a real growth, little was said about the importance to organize the house and do more with less. This new reality, imposed by the economic crisis, hold many companies to be adrift, some of them not even survived. A big economic impact was necessary to the Brazilian businessman turned back inside of their business, evaluating how could it be to improve the internal processes.
It is worth highlighting here that the management and process work organization were a surprise in many segments. Usual in developed nations like the United States of America, the Shared Services Center (SSC), allows an exchange of information between sectors or subsidiaries, effective control of the internal activities and it is rising its space in Brazilian corporations.
To increase the productivity isn’t enough just to establish one more department. The first step in process organization is the work routine definition, the creating paths to facilitate the accompaniment of that activities and the effective record of each professional’s actions. These data only can be measured and worked through the use of technology, with tools which can be applied to many departments, allowing better internal communication. Thus, the teams can request or start up certain actions, ensuring that they will have record of how long it tooke to to do their tasks and who is the responsible for the next step.
Do more with less is the economic sustainability synonym. It is no longer possible to have a big team without a purpose to be followed. The technology, through the intuitive web systems that allows the action’s recording, is the biggest ally whoever wants to establish an internal organization or control the work routine. With or without crisis, companies from different sizes and areas have common neeeds: reduce costs, teamwork management, increase attendance quality and, consequently, increase the productivity and the profit. All this pass by the internal organization, which is the first and bottom step in this meaning.
